As we were nearing the end of 2018, it was absolutely fantastic to have the opportunity to be one of over 150 exhibitors and bring Soave’s Ice Cream to our very first Girls Day Out Show.
Described as the “ultimate celebration of all things fun, fabulous and female” and all under one roof, the event takes place over 2 days, (Saturday and Sunday) and usually the first weekend in December at the SEC Glasgow. How could a girl not love this show? With fashion, beauty, brilliant entertainment and the opportunity to enjoy ‘refreshments’ with friends, it definitely had our attention. The addition of Soave’s Ice Cream was very popular with all the lovely ladies we had the pleasure to meet. What a great crowd. The event also has some fun ways to raise money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, a fantastic cause.
With many ladies shopping till they dropped in the run up to Christmas, it was wonderful that they popped by our stall to cool down with some ice cream or sorbet. Of course our ever popular Pink Gin Sorbet went down a treat. With some customers proving it was hard to pick a favourite, our Strawberry Prosecco Sorbet was up there too on the ladies tasting list. We did have a fantastic selection of our flavours with us on both days to suit all tastes. Some customers were also delighted to have the chance to sample our ice cream filled snowballs and sponges and to learn these are available at selected #Morrisons and #Scotmid stores as well as parlours throughout Scotland.
With cocktails, afternoon tea, live entertainment, beauty tutorials, fashion shows, and prosecco popping fun topped off with Soave’s Ice Cream, Girls Day Out Show really was a fun filled few days. Thank you Girls Day Out Show and all the wonderful women and girls who enjoyed Soave’s ice cream at the show. We hope to see you again.
